Amber Oolong Reserve β Assam Oolong Tea 100g | Floral, Multi-Brew | BETEAYA
Most people discover oolong and immediately wonder why nobody told them about it sooner.
Our Amber Oolong Reserve sits between green and black β semi-oxidised, which means it has the floral lift of a green tea and the warmth of a black, without being fully either. The first brew is floral, almost orchid-like. The second brew deepens. The third brew is often someone's favourite.
It's a tea that changes with patience, which is a rare thing to find.

Frequently asked questions
Is Assam tea stronger than Darjeeling tea?
Yes. Assam tea has a bolder, maltier flavor and higher caffeine content than Darjeeling, which is lighter and more floral. Assam is the tea most commonly used for masala chai because it holds up well to milk and spices.
How do I brew BETEAYA Classic Chai for the strongest flavor?
Add 1:1 milk and water simmer for 2-3 mins, add tea leaves and simmer for 4-5 minutes again until it reaches your preferred strength. For a stronger cup, add slightly more leaves rather than steeping longer, which can make it bitter.
Is BETEAYA tea grown and packed in one place?
Yes. All BETEAYA tea is grown, plucked, processed, and packed at our family-owned estate in Moran, Assam β nothing passes through a middleman.
How much caffeine does Assam tea have compared to coffee?
Assam tea typically has 40-70mg of caffeine per cup, compared to 80-100mg in coffee β enough for a real lift without the crash.
