Our Moran Malt Reserve is a second flush Assam orthodox — whole leaf, with golden tips, from a single estate we know by name. It brews into a deep amber cup with a natural malt character that doesn't need milk, sugar, or anything else to taste like something.

 

This is the tea for a slow Sunday morning, or for someone who has always wondered what the fuss about loose leaf is about.

How do I brew BETEAYA Classic Chai for the strongest flavor?

Add 1:1 milk and water simmer for 2-3 mins, add tea leaves and simmer for 4-5 minutes again until it reaches your preferred strength. For a stronger cup, add slightly more leaves rather than steeping longer, which can make it bitter.
